Authorities are reporting an increase in fraudulent activity related to the COVID-19 outbreak. One fraud aims to steal victims’ personal information through fake job postings. Job hunting is stressful enough even without the added possibility of falling for a scam. Scammers prey on a job seeker’s desperation, so it is important to use caution when responding to job postings.
